Ask what is being claimed

Identify the statement you want to check. Is it about materials, a technical function, how people use a product or a health outcome? These are different questions, and a source about one may not answer another.

Follow the original document

Look for a manual, technical document or the original publication rather than relying on a marketing summary. Check the exact product, date and stated limitations. A citation alone does not establish that every nearby claim is supported.

Leave uncertainty visible

If you cannot find documentation for a statement, treat it as unverified. Manufacturer descriptions are not automatically independent evidence. Healthtek does not independently certify products or establish clinical endorsement; check important questions with an appropriately qualified professional.
